New-build villa in Hoek van Holland

For a private client, we realised the steel structure for a beautiful new-build villa in Hoek van Holland.

A great project in which engineering, production and installation came together. Commissioned by the Visser family and under the expert supervision of George van Schijndel, we were entrusted with the delivery and installation of the steel structure. What made this project special is that we were not only contributing to a structure, but also to someone’s future home.

The house consists of 5 roof trusses, various floor beams with welded starter bars and columns. The 3D model clearly shows how the steel structure forms the foundation for the further construction of the home.

Most of the steel structure has been treated with a single-coat zinc phosphate primer. The components that are permanently exposed to semi-outdoor conditions have been hot-dip galvanised in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 1461 and additionally finished with a two-layer powder coating.

In addition, the profiles exposed to outdoor conditions have been thermally separated using thermal break details. This ensures that the structure is not only strong and accurately executed, but also tailored to the conditions in which the steel is applied.

A great example of how steel also forms an important foundation in private residential construction. We look back on this project with pride and would like to thank the Visser family and George van Schijndel for their trust.
