The transformation of the former, iconic IBM Dynatos building on David Ricardostraat in Amsterdam results in an apartment complex comprising 365 energy-efficient apartments.

Dijkstaal’s Work:
Supply and installation of approximately 800 tons of steel and installation of all hollow-core slabs for various rooftop extensions.

Steel structure consisting of:

  • Internal steelwork, installed using carriers, duct lifts, and forklifts

  • Rooftop extension on the low-rise section (5th, 6th, and 7th floors)

  • Rooftop extension on the high-rise section (12th, 13th, and 14th = roof floor)

  • 243 balconies (structurally optimized and prefabricated by us), hot-dip galvanized and double-layer powder coated
