Work Dijkstaal: Supplying and installing approximately 300 tons of steel. Consisting of the main steel structure that is fully circular, and prefabricated with fire-resistant coating. Laying the channel plate floors, supplying and installing the internal stairs, the emergency staircase and the steel roof panels.
The main supporting structure consists of a custom-made steel frame with columns that are connected on each floor. The beams of the steel structure are SFB beams integrated into the height of the floor package. Box profiles have been used as edge beams in the facade line. For stability, wind braces have been placed in tension and compression at three positions in the facade. The steel frame is completely demountable; it is created entirely by means of dry and reversible bolt connections.
The building temporarily serves as a courthouse while the original courthouse is being renovated. After completion, the building will be dismantled. The requirements for the building are therefore high. For example, the temporary nature of the building may not detract from its representativeness, comfort and safety. What a cool project to participate in.
