Activities Dijkstaal:
Delivering and installing new crane track girders (total approx. 140 tons of steel) in halls 7 and 10 at IHC in Sliedrecht. At first glance, perhaps not that exciting, but for an assignment like this, the right knowledge and experience are essential:
Working in an existing operational environment, adjustments to existing steel structures, delivering and installing new columns and heavy girders (including HEB 600, double IPE 450 in S355, all equipped with crane plate 50x30 or 60x40 with rounded corners for overhead cranes).
This major intervention was necessary because the company's activities have changed and these changed activities required different crane capacities, namely:
• 2x10T
• 2x12.5T
• 50T
• Various wall console cranes
• Various wall jib cranes
