Dijkstaal’s Work:
Supply and installation of 350 tons of steel. We delivered the main steel structure, which is partially galvanized and powder-coated and largely prefab fire-resistant coated.
We also supplied and installed the steel roof decking and laid approx. 1,400 m² of 200 mm thick hollow-core slabs.

The project consists of three loft office buildings and a parking structure located in the Houthavens area of Amsterdam. The buildings are divided into various multifunctional spaces for businesses in the creative sector.
Imagewharf is an initiative by several creative companies together with Steengoed, encompassing a construction volume of 17,500 m² on nearly 1.5 hectares of land. This urban community is built around experience and inspiration. Ideas, craftsmanship, and services come together in this city oasis.

Imagewharf consists of three large buildings: the Design Building, the Work Building, and the Studio Building. These buildings are divided into various multifunctional spaces such as workshops, studios, and loft offices. Sizes range from offices of 90 m² to entire floors of 1,600 m² and maker/studio spaces from 100 to 500 m².
Tenants share a clubhouse with food & beverage, spaces for expression and presentation, fiber-optic internet, e-cars and e-bikes, a city park, and rooftop gardens. Both indoors and outdoors, there is space to work, present, network, relax, and exercise individually or with colleagues.

The design of the Studio Building and the Work Building was created by Affaire d’Architecture. For both buildings, the ground floor and first floor are constructed from a base of prefabricated concrete.
The upper part of the Studio Building is a conceptually designed steel loft office. The entire building has a transparent appearance and consists of various flexibly arranged office and commercial spaces, as well as a rooftop terrace.
The upper part of the Work Building consists of two wooden and two steel volumes, connected by footbridges. The wooden buildings are equipped with sedum roofs. Between the Studio and Work Buildings, a two-level parking garage has been realized with approximately 45 parking spaces.
