Scope of Work for Dijkstaal:
Supplying and assembling approximately 120 tons of steel. This steel consists of internal stability portals on 3 floors and a 2-layer build-up over the entire building.
Dijkstaal feels at home in inner-city 'build-ups' with all the correlated operational and logistical challenges.
In the heart of Rotterdam, located at Stadhuisplein 16-38, the Hermes office building has been transformed into student housing for students of Erasmus College University. From the 1st floor to the 6th floor, 218 student rooms have been created. The top 2 floors comprise a new steel structure placed on top of the existing 1953 concrete building.
