Of course we could say all sorts of things about how we work, but we prefer to let our customers speak for themselves.

Cegelec Fire Solutions - Monitoring towers
Cegelec was commissioned to build a completely new terminal on the Maasvlakte. An important part of the installation was the realisation of 26 freestanding monitoring towers with heights between 8m and 15m, for the safety of the loading areas for inland and seagoing vessels.
For the construction of the towers, including base plate, cage ladder, maintenance platform and various supports for pipes and electrical cabinets, Cegelec called on Dijkstaal B.V.
After various good experiences in the past, it was once again a pleasure to work with the guys from Dijkstaal B.V. Good planning is the basis for every project, and this was neatly delivered at the start of the project.
Throughout the production of the towers (in 6 phases), each stage of the production (welding, galvanisation, coating, assembly) was neatly supervised and communicated. Various interim quality controls were effortlessly achieved thanks to the flawless work and good documentation of Dijkstaal B.V. The necessary changes in design and planning were also resolved in a professional manner.
In addition to the production of the towers, the installation on site was also carried out by Dijkstaal B.V. Here too, we could count on good cooperation with an eye for planning and safety, which ensured that everything went smoothly.
It was once again a pleasure to work with Dijkstaal B.V. on the realization of these monitoring towers. We will also be happy to come back for future projects.

Octatube - Blackrock Shopping Centre Dublin
Dijkstaal B.V. made the steel roof frames – consisting of more than 2000 hollow sections – for this project.
For this project Dijkstaal purchased the steel, cut it to size and welded it together in frames.
They also carried out very significant fitings in their factory in Maassluis. This ensured that the frames fitted together perfectly on the construction site in Ireland.
Because Dijkstaal is ‘around the corner’ from us, we were able to work closely together and thus jointly realise a perfectly fitting construction.
This has been of added value for both Octatube and Dijkstaal.
We have had a good and pleasant collaboration during this project and we assume that we will have the opportunity to work together again in the future.
André Dessens, project manager Blackrock.
